Members & roles

A workspace can have many members, each with a role that controls their permissions. Roles keep collaboration safe — everyone gets the access they need and nothing they don’t.

  • Admin — full control of the workspace: billing, members, API keys, and all content.
  • Member — can create and edit content (chats, agents, intel, knowledge, files) but can’t manage billing or members.
  • Viewer — read‑only. Can view content but can’t create, edit, or run actions that modify data.
  1. As an admin, open your workspace members settings.
  2. Invite a teammate by email.
  3. Assign a role — member for collaborators, viewer for stakeholders who only need visibility.

Admins can change a member’s role or remove them at any time from the members settings.

Workspace API keys are created and managed by admins, and act with admin privileges. Treat them like credentials. See API authentication.
