Core concepts
A few concepts show up everywhere in MixerLead AI. Understanding them makes the rest of the docs click into place.
Workspace
Section titled “Workspace”A workspace is the top‑level container for everything your team does in MixerLead — conversations, agents, intel, knowledge, files, and billing. It is your tenant boundary: data in one workspace is fully isolated from every other workspace.
- Created automatically when you sign up.
- Has a plan (Free, Premium, Pro, or Enterprise) and a credit balance.
- Owns its members, projects, knowledge base, files, and brand profile.
Project
Section titled “Project”A project is a scope inside a workspace. Use projects to separate clients, brands, campaigns, or initiatives. Many resources — conversations, agents, tracked competitors, and intel events — are organized per project so context stays clean.
Switch the active project from the project switcher in the sidebar. The project you have selected determines what you see and where new work is saved.
Members & roles
Section titled “Members & roles”A workspace can have multiple members. Each member has a role that controls what they can do:
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full control — billing, members, API keys, and all content. |
| Member | Create and edit content (chats, agents, intel, knowledge). |
| Viewer | Read‑only access — can view but not create or modify. |
See Members & roles for invites and management.
Credits
Section titled “Credits”MixerLead meters AI usage with credits. Each AI action (a chat reply, an agent step, a skill run, image generation, and so on) consumes credits based on the capability and model used — lightweight tasks cost less, frontier or research‑heavy tasks cost more.
- Your workspace has a running credit balance.
- When a request would exceed your balance, MixerLead tells you before running.
- You can top up credits or move to a higher plan at any time.
Plans set your defaults: which models you can use, your rate limits and daily quotas, included storage, and access to advanced features.
| Plan | Best for |
|---|---|
| Free | Trying MixerLead and light, individual use. |
| Premium | Solo marketers and small teams who need more models and headroom. |
| Pro | Teams running daily research, monitoring, and content at scale. |
| Enterprise | Larger organizations needing the highest limits and controls. |

Brand profile
Section titled “Brand profile”Your brand profile captures company name, value proposition, tone of voice, and target markets. MixerLead injects it as grounding context into chat, agents, and intel so output matches your voice automatically. See Brand setup.
Knowledge & grounding
Section titled “Knowledge & grounding”The Knowledge Base stores your documents, URLs, and crawled pages. When enabled, MixerLead retrieves the most relevant passages and cites them in the answer. This is how you move from generic AI to answers grounded in your own material. See Knowledge Base.
Artifacts
Section titled “Artifacts”An Artifact is a saved output — a strategy doc, a generated image, a messaging framework — kept in your workspace for reuse, refinement, and sharing. See Artifacts.
Conversations
Section titled “Conversations”A conversation is a chat thread. Conversations are saved and organized so you can return to them, branch them to explore alternatives, and keep a history of your team’s thinking.
